I feel my clients are more comfortable with the idea of a “Flat Rate” for their project; I do not want you feeling as if the quality of your project is going to be based on “how long the meter is running.” After discussing the required specifications of your project, I will present you with a formal, written proposal which will include the details of what services will be provided, an estimated start and completion date, and a flat rate fee.

There are certain circumstances where a design project may accrue additional fees due to unforeseen changes and additions to the project. ANY changes that will require an additional fee will be discussed up front: I won’t surprise you at the last minute!

The fee for a single logo, graphic and illustration design is $300. This flat fee includes 12 hours of design time, and includes three variations. This is normally plenty of time to develop a logo or basic illustration. Any additional design time is billed at my normal hourly rate of $35.00 per hour.

This flat fee is for ‘One Use’ Licensing. You will be asked to accept an agreement that confirms you will use the image only for the purpose stated. Your license is good for only one purpose and a one-time use; ‘images by pat irwin’ will continue to retain ownership and usage rights to the image. To use the image for another purpose, or acquire lifetime ownership, you must purchase a lifetime ownership license. Fees for this are discussed on a case by case basis.

I start by designing with a black and white rough sketch or digital matte, and then add color. While color logos are great on websites, single-color logos are useful and economical for print. Preliminary design(s) will be sent to your email within 3 (three) days of deposit.

Upon payment in full, you will receive (by email) a color version of your logo suitable for web pages and color printing, and a black-and-white version that you can use on one-color media. To receive these files on a CD, please include an additional $25 with your final payment.

The flat rate fee for one day (six hours) of onsite photography and one day (eight hours) of image manipulation, photo editing and re-touching is $600.00 - Includes travel within 50 (fifty) miles.

The flat rate fee for one day (six hours) of onsite Standard Definition video shooting (one camera, audio, lighting) without final editing is $750.00 – $1050.00 for High Definition - Includes travel within fifty miles. Additional fees for multiple cameras/formats available upon request.

The flat rate fee for final editing and authoring to DVD, Interactive CD or Tape will be dependent on the length and complexity of the source footage and audio. A formal proposal will gladly be submitted after discussing your needs.

I require that all clients submit a one third (33%) deposit of the total proposal price. Fifty percent (50%) if custom software purchase, or development and web hosting is required. For specifics, please see the ‘Payment Policy’ page.

$75.00 per hour. Rush charges apply to new logos, graphics or artwork due in under 48 hours, and/or project changes due in under 24 hours.

$35.00 an hour, billed in one-hour increments, one hour minimum.
